HELIOS™ UAV Beacon

Helios™ is a small, omnidirectional signal beacon specifically created for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle’s (UAV), micro-UAV’s, and Drones. Installed, Helios can broadcast a Flashing or Constant ON, visible or infrared, signal assisting in the tracking and recovery of these vehicles.

Helios is intended for OEM installation on UAV’s, and Drones. Once installed and integrated, remote operators will be able to choose between Constant ON and Flashing signaling, as well as, select between visual signaling (Red, Green, Blue or White), and covert Infrared signaling. If multiple Helios are installed, flashing patterns between Helios beacons can be synchronized reducing incidences of confusion when multiple drones are simultaneously deployed.

Weighing only 8 grams, the Helios has been designed for extreme and high-altitude environments. Its bright signal can be seen at ranges in excess of 1,500 meters.
